The TradeLabs Discord server is where you get help. When you link your Discord account from the web dashboard, TradeLabs adds you to the server and gives you the member roles for your plan. In the server you can open a support ticket, talk with other traders, and see announcements about new features and updates.

> **This is not a signal source**
>
> Linking Discord here connects your own Discord account to your TradeLabs subscription. It is separate from connecting Discord **in the app** as a source of trade calls. For that, see [Discord Signals](/docs/reference/strategies/discord/).

## Link Discord from your Profile

You need to be signed in to the dashboard with a license on your account and an active subscription.

1. **Open your Profile**

Sign in at [dashboard.tradelabs.org](https://dashboard.tradelabs.org) and click **User Profile** in the sidebar, under **Account**.

2. **Click Connect**

In the **Notifications** panel, find **Connect Discord** (*Verify subscriptions, sync roles, receive alerts*) and click **Connect**. A new tab opens on Discord, and the dashboard shows **Discord linking started**.

3. **Authorize on Discord**

Sign in to Discord in that tab if it asks, check that it is the account you want to link, and click **Authorize**.

4. **Check the panel**

TradeLabs adds you to the server and gives you the roles for your plan. Reload your Profile: the panel now reads **Connected to Discord** and **Signed in as @yourname**.

If you went through the dashboard's first-run setup, its optional **Community** step has a **Connect & join the server** button. It runs the same flow, so you may already be linked.

To link a different Discord account, click **Relink** on the same panel.

> **If linking fails**
>
> - **User does not have a license key**: your Profile shows **No license bound**. Click **Go to License Upgrade**, bind your license there, then try again.
> - **Could not start Discord linking** with **Failed to get Discord OAuth URL**: the most common cause is a plan that is not active. Discord linking needs an active subscription. Renew it from the dashboard, then try again. If your plan is active, open a ticket through the invite below.
> - **Failed to add you to the Discord server** in the Discord tab: wait a minute and click **Connect** again.

## Join the server

Linking adds you to the server for you. If you are not in it (for example, you left it earlier), use this invite: [Join the TradeLabs Discord server](https://discord.gg/axrErcv2nx). Your roles still come from the link, so link first, then join.

Your roles follow your subscription. If a payment fails or you cancel, the plan roles are removed; they come back when your subscription is active again.

> **RSA+ split alerts**
>
> On RSA+, a linked Discord account can also get a direct message when a split goes live. Turn it on from the split alerts on the dashboard (**Get a Discord DM when a split goes live**). It only works while your linked account is in the TradeLabs server.

## Open a support ticket

Support happens in tickets inside the server. Open one from the server's ticket system. You get a ticket channel named after you (for example `ticket-yourname`), where the team answers.

To get a fast answer, include:

- what you expected and what happened
- the broker and the strategy involved
- roughly when it happened, with your time zone
- a screenshot of the error, or the reason shown on the app's **Activity** page

> **Send your activity from the app**
>
> In the TradeLabs Companion app, open **Settings → Support**. Under **Recent activity**, click **Send** next to the day the problem happened, describe what went wrong (which broker, and what you expected), and click **Send to support**. The row then shows a **Sent** button: click it to copy the reference ID, and paste that into your ticket so the team can find your file.
